We are seeking a skilled, confident clinician to join our Access & Crisis team. This role is designed for someone who thrives in high-acuity situations, can pivot quickly, and is passionate about providing timely, compassionate care to individuals and families experiencing urgent psychiatric or personal crises.
As an Access & Crisis Float Clinician, you will play a critical role in ensuring individuals—especially school-age children—receive immediate, clinically sound support through crisis response, evaluation, and short-term stabilization services.
What You’ll Do
Crisis Response & Clinical Care
Conduct same-day mental health evaluations.
Provide crisis assessments and intervention services via phone, in-office, and mobile response.
Prioritize and respond to school-based and school-age referrals within the community.
Provide short-term, solution-focused therapy when clinically indicated.
Oversee and support mobile crisis/co-responding services as needed.
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Behavioral Urgent Care (BUC) services.
Care Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate care with mobile crisis responders, patient navigators, outpatient providers, and community agencies.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure continuity of care.
Provide community education and outreach as assigned.
Support streamlined, non-duplicative admissions processes that prioritize exceptional customer service.
Clinical Leadership & Compliance
Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Complete required screenings (including PASRR and Mental Health Reform) within established timelines.
Demonstrate working knowledge of the CCBHC model and provide care aligned with this framework.
Contribute insight and experience to ongoing departmental and strategic planning efforts.
