 As an Assembler, you’re the hands-on builder who brings custom products to life. From reading blueprints to using a variety of tools and equipment, you’ll assemble and fit components with precision to ensure every product meets quality and performance standards. Working alongside your team, you’ll help turn raw materials into finished systems that support customers across a wide range of industries.

What Success Looks Like 

 

  • Bring blueprints to life by accurately assembling standard and custom products with a strong focus on quality and precision.
  • Confidently read blueprints and electrical schematics to complete assemblies and wiring that meet exact specifications.
  • Double-check your work by verifying prints, schematics, and documentation to ensure everything is correct before moving forward.
  • Safely operate shop equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and jib cranes to move materials and support the build process.
  • Use a variety of tools—including drills, saws, nail guns, and air-powered equipment—to package and prepare products for shipment.
  • Support custom builds by assembling piping systems and occasionally performing basic welding as needed.
  • Work closely with your team to keep production moving efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Take pride in your craftsmanship—knowing the work you do directly impacts the quality of the final product and the customer experience.


Qualifications That Shine


  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • 2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to operate cranes and mobile equipment 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints 
  • Ability to assemble custom products 
  • Ability to use computer programs including IFS, Sharepoint, and Cratetracker 
  • Ability to provide electrical wiring for standard products

Transparent Rewards

At GFS, we recognize the dedication behind every role and ensure that our compensation reflects both your impact and our shared success.


Pay Range: $20.14 – $23.55 per hour, as applicable, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications.


Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role.


Benefits: Eligible for standard company benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and other employee programs. More detailed information is available at 2026 GFS Benefits


Actual compensation will be determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, skill level, and market conditions. For remote or hybrid positions, the listed pay range applies to applicants in the specified location.
