Position Summary:
The Business Office Manager oversees all business office activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and aligning with facility policies. You will manage resident funds, census records, billing, and coordinate with quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow daily, weekly, and month-end business office checklists
Complete the Daily Census Verification process
Ensure timely recording of room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges in PCC
Manage the RUG Billing Triple Check process
Oversee private pay billing and centralized statement procedures
Handle Medicare ADRs and appeals per established procedures
Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and external agencies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
Experience in business office operations, ideally in long-term care or healthcare
Knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
