tarte cosmetics is seeking a talented PR & Social Community Coordinator based in Sydney Australia! The PR & Social Community Coordinator will be responsible for developing & driving local PR, eventing & social media programs for all for launches/activations as well as for the long term brand awareness strategy.

 Our ideal candidate is beauty-obsessed with a proactive team player attitude, excellent communication & writing skills & is a multi-tasker that will reach deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Public Relations (PR):

·       Building relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, through regular and proactive communication, using those relationships to create opportunities for brand exposure and coverage.

·       Monitoring media & social media coverage for all brand visibilities.

·       Organizing events such as influencer events, product launches, or media deskside

·       Collaborating with Sephora on local multi-branded PR events & animations 

·       Developing PR strategies and out of the box opportunities to promote brand awareness & maintain a positive image.

·       Coordinate and execute local PR send outs in collaboration with global team

·       Social Media:

·       Partner with the International social media team to develop content & assets that fit the needs of the AUNZ market

·       Stay on top of the latest social media trends and create opportunity proposals

Social Media:

·       Partner with the International social media team to curate content & assets to fit the needs of the Australia market

·       Stay on top of the latest social media trends and create opportunity proposals

Event Planning: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of events, including product launches and brand activations.
  • Responsible for all event planning logistics including but not limited to coordinating travel, venues, sourcing vendors, shipping products, on-site problem-solving, etc.
  • Lead end-to-end event project management, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with event vendors and partners to secure the best services and pricing. 
  • Brainstorm & source creative activations, collateral & activities for events
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate guest lists & invitations
  • Measurement and Reporting:
  • Tracking and analyzing PR and community metrics such as media mentions, social media engagement, and sentiment analysis.
  • Providing Weekly, Monthly and quarterly reports on the effectiveness of PR and Social Media initiatives and making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 2+ years' relevant experience in PR & social media marketing
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment & meet changing deadlines on multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills 
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Works well under pressure & has a flexible & positive attitude
  • In-depth understanding of relevant & upcoming social media
  • Excellent verbal, communication & writing skills
  • Attention to detail & ability to multitask from event design and decor to guest experience, ensuring flawless execution
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Up to date on relevant cultural events
  • Passionate about beauty, beauty experience a plus
  • Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, adapting seamlessly to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, delivering high-quality events on time and within budget
