- Wash, clean and service coils on mechanical systems.
- Check and adjust drive belt tension on motors and fans.
- Lubricate mechanical equipment as required.
- Maintain and repair exhaust fans
- Enter and track preventative maintenance information into the work order data base system.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in construction and /or maintenance trades preferred
- Criminal background check required for hire
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Submit a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet the Colorado School Districts Self Insurance Pool (CSDSIP) insurability standards at the time of hire and throughout employment
- EPA 16 hour O&M Asbestos training required within 30 days of hire
- Must successfully pass 35# lifting test upon hire
- Possess basic understanding and application of mechanical skills
- Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Possess strong interpersonal relations skills
- Possess basic math skills
- Strong customer service and public relations skills as well as the ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills

SUMMARY: Perform preventative maintenance tasks on the mechanical heating and cooling systems on all District 51 facilities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
