Full-Time Special Education Teacher
Location: Burlington County Special Services School District – Westampton Campus

Position Summary

• BCSSSD is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate as Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities. Candidates should have a culturally responsive approach and strong behavior management skills to support a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Instructional Certificate – Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (required)

• Demonstrated ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively

• Ability to connect with and support culturally diverse learners

Salary & Benefits

• Annual Salary Range: $64,064 – $82,487 (commensurate with education and experience)

Note: Starting salaries typically fall within the lower portion of the range due to collective bargaining agreements.
