About the role

As an OSS/NW Solution Sales Expert at Amdocs, you will play a key role in driving the technical strategy, positioning, and solution design for our Intelligent Networking, OSS, and Autonomous Networks portfolio. You will partner with the sales organization, solution architects, delivery teams, and customers to define transformational journeys across service assurance, network automation, orchestration, inventory, and AI‑driven operations. This role requires strong OSS domain knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of Amdocs’ vision for Autonomous Networks, zero‑touch operations, and closed-loop automation.

Responsibilities

    • Technical Presales Leadership
    • Work closely with Amdocs account teams to qualify opportunities, define winning strategies, and support the end‑to‑end sales lifecycle.
    • Deliver high-impact presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and solution walkthroughs showcasing Amdocs OSS and Autonomous Network capabilities.
    • Provide technical leadership across Amdocs’ network portfolio, including Amdocs Intelligent Networking Suite - orchestration, inventory, activation, service assurance, and AI/ML analytics.
    • Provide technical leadership across solution which include Partners from Network Vendors and Hyperscalers.
    • Lead the technical positioning of Autonomous Networks (AN), including TMF AN maturity levels, closed-loop automation, intent-driven operations, and predictive analytics.

     

    • Solution Architecture & Design
    • Translate customer business needs into high-level architectures using Amdocs products and services.
    • Design OSS and AN solutions covering integration models, deployment strategies, data flows, and automation use cases.
    • Build architectures leveraging Amdocs automation, inventory, assurance, ONCP, and AI-driven capabilities.
    • Incorporate Autonomous Network principles such as closed-loop automation, data fabric, policy/intent frameworks, and digital twins.
    • Support customers with AN maturity assessments and transformation blueprints.

     

    • Customer Engagement
    • Conduct technical discovery to understand customer pain points and operational challenges.
    • Advise customers on Amdocs' roadmap for intelligent, automated, and autonomous operations.
    • Prepare and deliver RFI/RFP technical responses aligned with Amdocs portfolio capabilities.
    • Build trusted relationships with customer architecture, engineering, and operations teams.

     

    • Demonstrations & Proof-of-Concept (PoCs)
    • Configure and tailor demo environments using Amdocs products.
    • Build and present PoCs showcasing closed-loop healing, AI-driven anomaly detection, predictive assurance, and intent-based provisioning.
    • Document PoC outcomes and highlight measurable KPIs such as MTTR reduction, ticket avoidance, automation rates, and prediction accuracy.

     

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with Amdocs product management to provide customer insights and influence product roadmaps.
    • Align delivery and engineering teams with proposed designs to ensure feasibility and smooth handover.
    • Support marketing and thought leadership initiatives around OSS and Autonomous Networks.

Qualifications

  • Essential

    • 10+ years of experience in telecom OSS, network operations, engineering, or solution architecture.
    • Strong understanding of Mobile, IP/Transport, and Cloud domains.
    • Hands-on experience with OSS tools including assurance, inventory, and orchestration platforms.
    • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts relevant to network operations and TMF standards including Open APIs and AN Framework.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills.

     

     

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with OSS or Amdocs Intelligent Networking solutions.
    • Knowledge of NFV/SDN, Kubernetes, microservices, AIOps, policy engines, and digital twins.
    • Background in presales, consulting, or customer solutioning.
