We are seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express. This is a Full Time position located in Quincy, MA. As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel public spaces, have a strong attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express. This is a Full Time position located in Quincy, MA. As a Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and hotel public spaces, have a strong attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer service.
Work Performed
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hotel to create a memorable and unique experience for our guests.
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting
- Report and return any guest properties that were left behind
- Report cases of property damage to supervisor
- Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
- Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
- Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs
- Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Continuous standing 90% of time
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. limited
- Pushing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work independently
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Hours required: Full Time 40 hour shift AM; Weekends; Holidays; Must be flexible ; scheduled days and times may vary based on need
Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities
- Previous customer facing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Second language is a plus
Compensation
$17 Hourly Plus Tips
