When you become a part of this company, you’ll become part of a dynamic, friendly, fun, and forward-looking community.

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Principal Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted financial partner to key business units, providing strategic insights, financial modeling, and data-driven recommendations that influence critical business decisions. This is a high-visibility role that bridges finance and operations, requiring both technical acumen and strong stakeholder management skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Business Partnership & Strategic Support
  • Serve as the dedicated financial business partner to assigned business unit(s), building strong relationships with senior leaders and operational teams
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities and communicate findings to business and finance leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including accounting, operations, sales, and HR to ensure financial alignment

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for supported business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve financial models to support scenario analysis, variance analysis, and long-range planning
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, providing meaningful variance commentary versus budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Support the monthly close process in partnership with the accounting team

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations to communicate performance and trends
  • Design and maintain KPI tracking tools and management reporting packages
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and data integrity

Ad Hoc Analysis & Projects

  • Lead and support ad hoc financial analysis, business case development, and investment evaluation (ROI, NPV, payback analysis)
  • Participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives, M&A due diligence, or special projects as needed

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus).
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, with at least 2+ years supporting SaaS or Fintech Sales/Marketing functions.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS financial metrics: ARR, GRR, NRR
  • Expertise in financial modeling and Excel; experience with tools like Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or Planful.
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).
  • East Coast Location Preferred
