Job Description

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.

ION Solar is seeking a Sales Recruiter to support our hiring efforts through Indeed and other recruiting platforms. This role is responsible for contacting and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and guiding applicants through the hiring process from initial application to onboarding.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Contact and screen candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and interest
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps with sales leadership
  • Manage candidates through the recruiting pipeline in a timely and organized manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand hiring needs and priorities
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in applicant tracking and CRM systems

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 2–5 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or related fields
  • Strong phone presence with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience conducting candidate screenings and scheduling interviews
  • Familiarity with Indeed Sponsored Jobs and recruiting dashboards
  • Experience using CRM or applicant tracking systems
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience managing job boards or PPC recruitment platforms preferred
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and adjust sourcing strategies
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Solar industry experience preferred

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced office environment with extensive computer and phone use
  • Primarily desk-based with occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 20 pounds
  • Typical office noise with regular interruptions
