2026 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting

Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Fiduciary Trust Portfolio Management: Brooklyn Bridge Team

Start Date: All interns must start in office in the New York City office, in person on June 8, 2026.

Anticipated End Date: August 14, 2026 – All interns must be in office and in person on their last day to return equipment. Interns must be located in the same location throughout the duration of their internship and are prohibited from returning laptop/equipment to a different office location or shipping their equipment back.

Position Overview: Fiduciary Trust International is hiring a full-time portfolio management intern to work out of our Midtown Manhattan office this summer. The intern will work with our Portfolio Managers on a variety of investment management tasks related to portfolio construction and asset allocation.

This is a full-time internship, where interns will work approximately 35 hours per week and will be expected to come into our office, in-person, 3 days per week (hybrid work schedule).

Key Responsibilities Can Include:

  • Conduct regular account reviews with Portfolio Managers and suggest appropriate actions to uphold asset allocation and portfolio construction views.
  • Provide research support for the equity strategy teams by monitoring and gathering specific fundamental research data on stock recommendations – This may include providing research meeting notes and coordinating meetings with external Analysts and/or company management.
  • Provide portfolio data and analytics, and work with the Portfolio Managers to create presentations for client and prospect meetings.
  • Provide analytical performance reports while working closely with the Portfolio Managers to interpret the performance data.
  • Provide cash flow analysis and wealth projections.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • A rising junior or senior, seeking a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related area.
  • Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of senior investment leaders.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate investment policy views and current market conditions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a peer-to-peer and team environment.
  • Ability to communicate research findings and investment views through regular meetings, reports, emails and one-on-one direct exchanges.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Working knowledge — Microsoft Office Suite, FactSet and/or Bloomberg.

This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35 (dependent on state/location) hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $31 (dependent on location and function) USD per hour.
