Role Snapshot:

What You’ll Do:
• Perform detailed takeoffs from property conditions, blueprints, and project documentation (small, medium, and large projects). • Complete site inspections and field takeoffs to verify scope, quantities, and job conditions. • Develop detailed cost estimates as designs progress—from conceptual/schematic drawings through final bid. • Review and analyze schedules, contracts, change orders, daily construction reports, and technical reports. • Communicate cost drivers and support value engineering conversations across trades. • Support Sales and Operations with clear estimate packages, scope narratives, and timely updates. • Help improve estimating efficiency by suggesting process and workflow enhancements. • Meet productivity/volume expectations while maintaining accuracy and quality.
What We’re Looking For:

Preferred Experience (Not Required) • Experience with estimating software such as Xactimate, Quick Bid, or similar tools. • Prior exposure to residential and/or commercial estimating, document review, or construction/restoration field work. • Familiarity with project phases and interpreting drawings from conceptual through final bid. • Experience with value engineering and cost modeling with fast turnaround.
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days:)
• Complete accurate takeoffs and estimates with supervision, steadily increasing independence. • Produce clear scope write-ups, inclusions/exclusions, and assumptions that reduce field surprises. • Build strong working relationships with Sales, Operations, and field teams. • Adopt re:fab estimating standards and contribute at least one efficiency improvement idea.
What You’ll Get:
• Competitive pay • Health & Dental Insurance • Company Sponsored Life Insurance • Company 401(k) program • Career advancement opportunities and ongoing support • Company vehicle or reimbursement, plus laptop and cell phone
