What We're Looking For:
This position assists the Sustainability Director with a variety of district-wide projects and programs. Project Manager owns project launch, planning, control, and delivery against timeline and budget metrics for assignments within their area of responsibility. Participate in new processes related to the new regulations. Supports department leadership in studying new and proposed sustainable programs.- Drives projects such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, implementing green building practices, managing corporate sustainability reports, or orchestrating large-scale transitions to renewable energy.
- Ensure each project aligns with broader sustainability strategies or environmental commitments. These may include corporate net-zero goals, environmental certifications, or compliance with environmental regulations.
- Communicates project progress, sustainability benefits, and potential risks effectively to all parties involved
- Researching and staying updated on industry best practices, and trends related to sustainability.
- Engaging with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.
- Identifying and evaluating sustainability risks and opportunities that could impact on the organization's long-term viability and reputation.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Independently manages projects of moderate to significant scope, size, and complexity
- Develop and refine project charters, scope statements, and detailed plans incorporating intermediate risk management strategies
- Balance scope, schedule, and budget constraints to optimize project execution with minimal business impact
- Regularly monitor and documents project progress against plans, making necessary adjustments to address emerging risks or delays
- Uses judgment to determine how to address risks including when and how to escalate
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across departments to achieve project milestones. Demonstrates the ability to build and nurture effective teams
- Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of project management concepts and tools
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years experience
- Project management certification preferred
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Intermediate Project Management Skills. Demostrated knowledge of intermediate concepts with project management approaches, tools, and methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools like MS Project
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills. Demonstrates the ability to build and faciltate effective teams.
- Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
- Advanced problem solving skills. Strong critical thinking and data-driven decision-making

Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.Job Posting Statement:
