Job Description

Come work for Western Slope In-Home Care and make a difference! You will get the opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals in their home and give back to the elder blind or disabled. Western Slope In-Home Care provides home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who want to remain independent and live in their own homes. Caregivers need to live in the NW Colorado area to work with our Agency. You can be a part of that mission.

Pay Rate:  $17.00- $20.00  per hour

Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients 
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication. 
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene 
  • Complete the client’s shopping or accompany them to do so successfully
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Ideal Candidates will:

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • CNA a plus but not required.

Caregivers work in the privacy of each patient’s home allowing you more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care. This support also empowers the patient to remain as independent and comfortable as possible at home.

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide infection control training, provide a PPE training and a gear bag at orientation.
