In This Role You Will:

As a future CNA with Hoosier Village, you will care for residents under direction of nursing and medical staff. The shifts are 12 hours, and we require coverage every other weekend. 

  • Answer signal lights to determine residents' needs
  • Help residents bathe, dress, and undress
  • Turn and reposition bedfast residents
  • Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
  • Serve and collect food trays and feed residents that require help
  • Transport residents by wheelchair or by assisting them to walk
  • Clean, sterilize, store, prepare, and issue dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies
  • Perform other needed tasks like running errands, directing visitors, and answering the telephone
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Who You Are:

  • Customer service skills
  • Preferred: experience with senior living
