As an Activity Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and overall well-being of our residents. We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and organized professional to lead our activity program and ensure that every resident has the opportunity to engage in meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and lead a variety of activities, including recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify residents' interests, needs, and abilities
• Create engaging and personalized activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being
• Recruit, train, and supervise activity staff and volunteers
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and vendors to bring in new and innovative activities
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and resident participation

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in activity direction or a related field (education or training in recreation therapy or a related field preferred) but we will train the right motivated applicant
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of adult development and aging processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
