    Join Our Team: Behavior Specialist at Anthony Wayne Local Schools - Anthony Wayne Local School District is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Behavior Specialist to join our Student Services team. If you are passionate about supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs through evidence-based practices, we want to hear from you.
    The Role - As a Behavior Specialist, you will provide expertise in behavior analysis across the PK-12 spectrum. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and monitor interventions such as Restorative Practices and Trauma-Informed Care to ensure that all students have access to education in the least restrictive environment.

    Key Responsibilities
        Direct Support: Work directly with students exhibiting significant behaviors.
        Plan Development: Create and facilitate FBAs, BIPs, Crisis Plans, IEPs, and 504s.
        Staff & Parent Coaching: Provide professional development to staff on classroom management and guide parents on implementing behavioral strategies at home.
        Crisis Response: Model behavioral interventions for school crisis teams and serve as a district crisis intervention trainer.
        Data Literacy: Analyze data to evaluate program strengths and inform intervention decisions.

    What We're Looking For
        Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
        Certification: Current BCBA certification is required.
        Licensure: Valid State of Ohio certification or licensure in a related educational field (K-12).
        Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio's Operating Standards.
        Resilience: Ability to maintain professional composure under adverse conditions.
