About the Team & Business Line:
For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service
excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our
clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of
corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate
entities throughout their life cycle. Working with our Global Subsidiary
Governance Services (GSGS) team, you will work with multinationals, corporates
and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the
increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Provide supervision of Funds and Capital Markets clients accounting matters preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting, annual accounts
- Review the NAV packs including
- Manage and monitor the timing and quality of deliverables (SLAs)
- Act as a back-up for Capital Markets accounting team (securitization vehicles).
- Participate in Service Review Calls with Outsource Service Providers
- Review performance of Outsource Service Providers based on KRIs and KPIs
- - Management Fee, Carried Interest & Waterfall calculations
- - Investor Allocation calculations and Equalization
- - Trial balances and General Ledger
- Liaise with tax advisor with regards to VAT returns and corporate taxes
- Ensure compliance of activities with Luxembourg regulations and approvals, internal policies etc. as well as complete risk assessments
- Ensure maintenance of high-quality operating standards, understanding of Fund Accounting procedures, good governance, and quality controls
- Review fund clients' limited partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials
- Review implementation of fund structures on accounting system
- Prepare and review periodic regulatory filings
- Able to work autonomously but able to recognize when assistance is needed
- Pro-actively maintain and develop a network of internationally established clients
- Act as a key contact for auditors in case of audits performed on client companies
- Communicate with clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions, and other Citco offices worldwide.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as the Onboarding team, Investor Relations, Corporate Secretary, Business Development, and other groups at Citco.
Qualifications
About You:
- Can work independently as well as in a team, and take initiative and ownership
- A degree in Finance or Accounting and or a proven track record in Fund Accounting
- Good understanding of Luxembourg Fund structures
- You have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role in Private Equity and/or Real Estate
- Knowledge of preparation of financial statements based on Lux GAAP; Knowledge of IFRS or any other GAAP.
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Experience with Yardi or Investran is an advantage.
- Project management skills with proven ability to multi-task
- Have a hands-on work mentality
- You are fluent in English.
