ABOUT THE UNIT:
At Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC), the 3rd West unit is a 52-bed department that serves a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical, oncology and pediatric patients. Nurses on 3rd West have opportunities to advance their skills with training in pediatric care and chemotherapy certification. The unit operates with two charge nurses per shift to ensure smooth patient care and staff support. Our goal is to maintain a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with a collaborative team approach that includes LPNs and other support staff. The unit is designed to provide a dynamic and comprehensive care experience, preparing nurses for specialized roles in the future.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse Tennessee Required
2 Years Med-Surg Nursing Experience for Float Pool Positions Required
1 Year Nursing Experience for PRN Positions Required
Associate's Nursing Preferred
1 Year Nursing Experience for FT Positions Preferred
