About the Department

The City of Inver Grove Heights seeks a Zumba Fitness Instructor to provide safe, effective, fun and easy to follow fitness classes and programs to members and guests of our Community Center. 
 

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to deal with people effectively, exhibit responsible judgment, understand and follow oral and written direction and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public. 
• Must be 18 years of age or older and pass a background check. 
• Must have the ability to lead a fitness class, motivate and educate members, be energetic and fun.
• Requires a Group Fitness Instructor Certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g. ACE, AFFA or NETA), current CPR/AED certification and specialty certificate/training as a Zumba (classic, gold, or kids) Instructor.

Other Qualifications

Positions are part-time 1-20 hours per week. Childcare and complimentary fitness membership is available.
