Job Description







Our Acute Care & Rehab team is looking for a PT to provide therapy services on a PRN basis.  Common patient types include: evaluating and treating total joints, spine, CVA, other medical & surgical diagnoses.

Details:




  • PRN or as needed



  • Weekends preferred



  • 8 or 10 hour shifts





 


JOB SUMMARY:


 


Responsible for providing a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion


 


QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Graduate of school of physical therapy 



  • Current license to practice in Oklahoma



  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing



  • Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures



  • Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is required



  • Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred



  • Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients




 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:




  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or > 100 lbs.) for most of the shift



  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.)



  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping



  • Demonstrate adequate stamina to heal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule
