    DPT/ Special Education Teacher - Beginning the 26-27 School Year

    Description:  Kingswood Regional High School is seeking a dynamic diagnostic prescriptive teacher/special education teacher to provide direct service and consultation to students with a variety of educational disabilities.  Candidate must be able to work as a member of a team, utilize educational data to guide interventions, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to implement special education rules and procedures outlined by the New Hampshire Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities.  Responsibilities include direct service/instruction in academic and social/behavioral skills, consultation, development of positive intervention plans, writing Functional Behavior Assessments, facilitation and case mangagement of the implementation of Individual Education Plans.  

    Qualifications: Must hold New Hampshire Department of Education certification in general special education. 

    Working Conditions: Position is full-time with benefits.
