Job Description

At Inpro, we believe great manufacturing starts with great planning. We are currently seeking a Production Scheduler to support our IPC Door & Wall Protection manufacturing operations by developing and optimizing production schedules that maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure on-time delivery for our customers.

In this role, you’ll work closely with production, supply chain, maintenance, and leadership teams to balance priorities, respond to changing production needs, and keep our operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As our Production Scheduler, you will:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for Extrusion and Injection Molding based on customer demand, forecasts, and inventory targets.
  • Optimize production sequencing to minimize changeovers involving dies, sizers, molds, colors, and material shifts.
  • Monitor daily line performance and adjust schedules in real time to maintain efficiency and support delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Production Planning to ensure materials are available to support schedules.
  • Balance priorities such as expedite orders, late orders, large production runs, and inventory adjustments.
  • Respond to production disruptions including equipment downtime, tooling issues, or quality concerns.
  • Partner with Maintenance to schedule around preventive maintenance and unplanned downtime.
  • Analyze historical production data to improve scheduling accuracy, reduce waste, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Communicate schedule changes, risks, and recovery plans to supervisors and leadership.
  • Print and distribute work orders for Extrusion and Injection Molding operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of production scheduling experience preferred, ideally in plastics, extrusion, or injection molding manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of extrusion and injection molding processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and pivot tables.
  • Ability to interpret production metrics such as throughput, yield, and scrap.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of tooling, molds, and downstream extrusion equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
