We are seeking a motivated intern to support quality improvement, marketing, and outreach projects in our various healthcare settings. This role is ideal for students interested in healthcare administration, marketing, or public health, offering hands-on experience with real-world impact.
Under the supervision of the AVP Corporate Quality & Regulatory or delegated quality staff, the Quality Intern assists the quality team with projects and tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives by evaluating clinic operations and gathering data to improve patient care and health center efficiency.
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to increase patient volume, including planning and developing promotional materials and collaborating with the marketing team.
- Support the behavioral health quality improvement and program initiatives
- Ensure quality measures have supporting documentation.
- Assists with auditing assigned workflows and processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project outcomes and outreach activities for leadership review.
- Collaborate with staff across departments to implement and monitor new initiatives.
- Assist in collecting and organizing program data.
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and gaps in service delivery.
- Ensure data is handled in compliance with privacy and HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in preparing visual presentations and written reports for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in healthcare quality
- Provide administrative support to the quality department staff
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Interest in a future career in healthcare with the opportunity to make a difference.
Licensure:
- Driver's License

- Candidates must demonstrate basic computer proficiency, including Excel, and be comfortable interacting with others in a professional manner. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
