About the position
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) is a joint force operation targeting serious and organized crime. The ALERT teams work with people from multiple police agencies across Alberta, as well as full time RCMP employees. This Fort McMurray Administrative Operational Support Clerk position will report to a Public Service Supervisor, as well as taking direction and being tasked by the Unit Commander of the Regional Team. This role has various responsibilities which include providing support for all RCMP data software processes, helping to train and onboard new and seconded employees, asset management, and general office supply tracking and procurement.
The intent of this process is to staff one (1) position on an indeterminate basis in Fort McMurray Alberta, and create a pool of qualified candidates. The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff similar positions with various tenures (i.e. indeterminate, term, deployment, acting, assignment, and secondment) within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
