Job Description

SUMMARY

  • Overseas a planned maintenance program for Assisted Living Memory Care and ensures 100% compliance toward regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a Planned Maintenance Program for Assisted Living Memory Care.
  • Establish standards and procedures for maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Plan a departmental budget for Assisted Living Memory Care and operate the department within the planned budget guidelines.
  • Responsible for administering corrective and preventative work orders for Assisted Living Memory Care.
  • Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations, recommendations, and requirements related to the maintenance and operation of Assisted Living Memory Care are adhered to and appropriately communicated to staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Train Assisted Living Memory Care staff on emergency procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date Preventive Maintenance logs and files related to P.M. procedures.
  • Responsible for the research and implementation of all functions related to the Safety Committee and serves as the Safety Officer in Director of Facilities absence.
  • Train all Morse Health Center staff on Life Safety and Security procedures.
  • Serve as interim Facilities Director in their absence.
  • Serve on Morse Health Center and MorseLife committees as required, such as Infection Control Committee.
  • Work closely with the Director of Assisted Living Memory Care to ensure safety and general maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all Assisted Living Memory Care staff.
