Archiving / restoring of the Content

  • Archive the content file post technical checks done by the team.
  • Maintain content records and monthly reporting.
  • Convert file for Syndication.
  • Inventory management.
  • Ensure the Archival of digital content.
  • Ensure content is available for Channel Creative Teams at any given point of time.
  • Ensure the Library / Storage capacity is working as per requirements.
  • Assign resources to the incoming content for TC, QC checks
  • No of errors in the file
  • Time taken for archival

Creating Content IDs

  • Assign unique ID to every single content file which is stored in the network.
  • Ensure that File IDs are as maintained per company standards for the specific channels/ content

  • Review/ Update the technical check list as per network requirements.
  • Ensure zero technical errors in the final content

  • Manage a team of Librarian.
  • Ensure all new programme/commercials/promos materials channels into library database. No mistakes allowed upon keying in of data.
  • To create labels for MSM/SPE Network program tapes and send them out to Ops for barcoding.
  • To keep all new tapes after barcoding and to assign location and update them in Nesbit.
  • To bin in all tapes after location has been assigned to them.
  • To check emails for preparation of MSM materials. To go through all emails from India regarding dispatch of materials including programs and commercials/promos.
  • To check through emails and process it whenever SPE Network request for tapes and put them in the dispatch box
  • To clear the dispatch box from SPE Network every day
  • To highlight to Channel whenever discrepancies are highlighted by Ops
  • To liaise with Channel for contents materials issues

  • To do housekeeping-inventory check on all tapes storage in SPTL, ie: as and when required.
  • To assist in checking of tapes if approached by Channel, ie: extracting of tapes to be sent out/return.

Processing job requests for Channel customers

 

  • To process job requests from Channel if required. To ask Channel for specific instructions before sending job out to Operations. To stamp and record every job order in ‘V’ drive. To send
  • completed Job sheets to accounts department. To call Channel to collect completed jobs.
  • To book in and out for tapes borrowed by Channel.
  • To process re-cache order and co-ordinate with Operations/Channel for re-cache.
