The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and proposing Infor solutions that align with a customer’s business objectives, address key challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement. They have a deep understanding of customer business drivers and the existing IT landscape, ensuring each proposed solution is both feasible and strategically sound. By leveraging broad knowledge of the Infor solution portfolio, the Solution Architect develops roadmaps and identifies the components needed to deliver the most effective solution. Typically engaged full-time within the project delivery team, they work across multiple solution domains and bring experience from industries such as Food & Beverage, Distribution, and Discrete Manufacturing.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Acts as an expert and evangelist for Infor applications and technology, maintaining up-to-date product and technical knowledge
Applies broad industry knowledge to present solutions in context and align with customer business drivers
Decomposes complex problems into manageable components for communication at both business and technical levels
Designs, documents, and delivers solution architectures that meet client needs and provide implementation continuity
Leads architectural discussions with clients, presenting to C-level audiences and demonstrating business value
Defines the solution approach, identifies the critical path, and develops a roadmap for delivery
Builds and maintains strong customer relationships throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in presenting to C-level audiences, focusing on demonstrating the business value of solutions
ERP Implementation experience across all business process areas of Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing and Planning, Customer Sales, Finance, or Service and Rental
Knowledge of the important standards for business processes, information models and architectural models generally applied in an industry
Experience in supporting and participating in Sales activities
Conceptual knowledge of OAGi standards, workflow & integration methods & techniques
Experience leading C‑level architecture discussions, executive workshops, and ERP solution roadmap presentations.
Willingness to travel throughout North America (US and Canada) 50% or more
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in the application of Infor architecture engagement processes and tools
Knowledge of M3 data structures, APIs, and integration patterns
Knowledge of TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Forum) concepts in a project environment
Able to deploy TOGAF Architecture Development Methods (ADM)
Experience of multiple M3 full project life-cycle implementations as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
