    Hours: 7:30am - 2:30pm
     

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree or higher
     

    Experience working with students in a school setting preferred and/or demonstrated ability to make connections and provide academic support for such students. 

     

    Successful completion of college level coursework or passing of examination as required by the No Child Left Behind Act.

    Tutor's Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with the Special education teacher, the tutor supports students academic, behavioral, and organizational needs
    • Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with their IEP/504 Plans
    • Utilize appropriate instructional materials
    • Provide instruction and support to students assigned
    • Progress monitor student performance
    • Assist with assignments/assessments as needed
    • Communicate progress to classroom teacher/special education case manager
    • Other duties as assigned by Pupil and Special Education Services and/or building principal
    • Support secondary students with online credit recovery program
    • Provide social/emotional support to students in efforts to engage them in their learning
