Summary of Position
This position provides executive support to the Lead Executive Pastor and the Lead Pastor of Strategic Initiatives. This position also serves as the representative and procedural liaison between the Steering Team and Directional Elders. The executive assistant multiplies the executive pastors’ effectiveness by managing priorities, protecting time, anticipating needs, and ensuring clarity, trust, and excellence in execution.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Administrative gifting, strong organizational skills, and detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Proven track record of using discretion in handling personal and/or confidential information
- Ability to maintain and demonstrate a servant’s heart and spiritual maturity
- Ability to multi-task numerous projects with clarity, flexibility, and focus while meeting deadlines
- Experience with planning and executing a variety of meetings (size/kind/duration)
- Comfortable interacting with high-level executives
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and solutions-oriented
- Above average proficiency with Google Workspace, Apple products, & Microsoft Office
- A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member
