rockITdata is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) to join our team supporting a mission-critical Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) program. This position plays a pivotal role in developing, managing, and maintaining the program’s master schedule, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for complex, multi-year VA programs using MS Project or equivalent tools.
- Coordinate inputs from multiple project managers, functional leads, and external partners to ensure accurate schedule alignment and dependency tracking.
- Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and critical path risks.
- Conduct regular schedule status reviews with VA stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
- Support integrated project planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and reporting to ensure schedule adherence and performance tracking.
- Generate and present schedule status reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Incorporate Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods into scheduling as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with VA PMAS, TMS, and other federal delivery frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience as a scheduler or project controls analyst on federal programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles (PMBOK, EVM, critical path method).
- Ability to work onsite in Rosslyn, VA, 4–5 days a week.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- PMP or PMI-SP certification.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
- Familiarity with VA-specific tools such as PMAS, Jira, or ServiceNow.
- Prior experience working with system integrators or federal health contractor
