•   Assist the boiler team in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of high-pressure steam boilers and related equipment on an assigned shift.

•                 Problem solving and troubleshoot causes machinery breakdown or failure.

•                 Ensure efficient and safe operation of the boiler and auxiliary equipment of the boiler.

•                 Ensure that the daily operation check and work list under the boiler man carrying “Duties and Responsibility of Boiler man”.

•                 Assist Boiler Team Leader to Plan, organize and schedule systematic plant maintenance for boilers and auxiliary equipment and maintain the records.

•                 Prepare boiler for regular servicing when necessary and when requested by Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerja.

•                 Keep track of spare parts and material, chemical, etc. for boilers and auxiliary equipment.

•                 Maintain records of daily Steam Production and Consumption and Fuel consumption for a month summary report.

•                 Record boiler operation protectors for medium pressure and high-pressure boilers.

•                 Ensure the water is tested before use, chemical is dose as per recommended and the softener is regenerated as recommended.

•                 Carry out simple maintenance on the boiler and auxiliary equipment including painting of equipment when rust occurs.

•                 Maintain the cleanliness of the boiler house, boilers and auxiliary equipment.

Job Requirement

• Hold minimum SPM with Steam Boiler Driver Grade 2
• 2 years working experience in boiler operation and manufacturing environment or apprentice.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance program
