We are seeking a visionary Group Talent & Culture Executive to redefine how talent is attracted, nurtured, inspired, and enabled across all levels of the organisation, including restaurant teams, above‑store leadership, and the broader group ecosystem The Group Talent & Culture Executive will architect and lead a future‑ready people strategy that drives operational performance, strengthens an iconic employer brand, and cultivates a high‑performance culture rooted in innovation, inclusion, accountability, and belonging. This role combines strategic foresight with hands‑on leadership to ensure that people systems, practices, and capabilities evolve in response to:

- Rapidly shifting consumer expectations

- Accelerated digital and AI adoption

- The demands of high‑performance restaurant operations

As a strategic advisor to the Group General Manager and Executive Committee, the Group Talent & Culture Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s people‑centric transformation while ensuring excellence across core HR operations.

What you’ll do: 

1. Talent Strategy & Workforce Transformation

  • Build a multi‑year people and talent strategy aligned to business growth and digital transformation goals.
  • Lead workforce planning for a high‑volume, multi‑market restaurant ecosystem driven by automation, data, and AI.
  • Develop future‑fit leadership pipelines and succession planning, with emphasis on operational excellence and digital fluency.
  • Reimagine talent acquisition for scale, leveraging employer branding, social platforms, workforce analytics, and digitised recruitment.

2. Culture, Purpose & Organisational Health

  • Shape and embed a culture that embraces innovation, diversity, operational discipline, and customer obsession.
  • Strengthen organisational values and behavioural standards to build pride and belonging across thousands of employees.
  • Lead transformation initiatives that strengthen inclusivity, equity, and career mobility - particularly within restaurant operations.

3. Learning, Capability & Digital Upskilling

  • Build a modern learning ecosystem, blending digital learning, AI‑driven skills pathways, and hands‑on operational training.
  • Develop capability frameworks for restaurant and leadership roles aligned with future operational models.
  • Oversee the design of academies, certification pathways, and continuous development programs at scale.

4. Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Design an end‑to‑end employee experience that boosts retention, performance, and engagement.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs that drive motivation and operational excellence.
  • Build real‑time employee listening and analytics capabilities to inform decision‑making.

5. HR Technology, Data & Operational Excellence

  • Drive digitisation of all HR systems (HRIS, workforce management, recruitment, L&D).
  • Implement people analytics to optimise workforce deployment, retention, performance, and growth.
  • Ensure streamlined, compliant, and scalable HR operations that enable leaders and frontline employees.

6. Strategic Leadership & Change Management

  • Advise Exco on organisational design, transformation, and leadership strategies.
  • Lead major change initiatives across the group with clear communication, adoption plans, and cultural alignment.
  • Serve as a culture champion through visible, authentic, and empathetic leadership.

    What you’ll bring: 

    Qualifications, Experience & Leadership Profile

    • A minimum of 10 years’ senior HR leadership experience, with multi‑site restaurant, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
    • A Master’s degree (MBA or HR‑related) combined with SABPP registration at CHRP or MHRP level.
    • A proven track record of leading large‑scale, enterprise‑wide people transformation initiatives within complex environments.
    • Deep expertise in digital HR technologies, workforce analytics, and modern talent systems, with a strong data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
    • Extensive experience in leadership development, cultural transformation, and operational workforce management.
    • Demonstrated success navigating large, diverse, and operationally complex organisations.
