Job Description
Digital Marketing Internship – Summer 2026
Organization: Strokes of Genius Swim School
Location: San Antonio, TX

About Us
Strokes of Genius Swim School teaches survival-first swimming lessons to families across San Antonio. Our goal is simple: help kids and parents feel confident and safe around the water. We’re a small, mission-driven business with a growing online presence—and this summer, we’re looking for a creative student intern to help us take that next big step.

What You’ll Do
As our Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll help shape the voice and story of Strokes of Genius across social media. You’ll research what parents are asking about swim lessons and water safety, plan out a summer content calendar, and work with the owner to bring ideas to life through short educational videos and fun, informative posts.

Your main project will focus on creating and managing social content—from brainstorming and filming, to editing and posting. You’ll also pitch in on research projects, like identifying competitor strategies and building a list of local swim instructors or organizations we could partner with.

What You’ll Learn
By the end of the summer, you’ll have hands-on experience:

Building a content strategy for a real small business

Storyboarding, filming, and editing social videos

Managing a content schedule and measuring engagement

Conducting competitor and market research

Presenting marketing ideas to a business owner

Who We’re Looking For
This opportunity is a great fit for students studying marketing, communications, business, or anyone excited about digital storytelling. You should enjoy writing, have a good eye for visuals, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting. Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, or other short-form content tools is a plus—but curiosity and creativity matter most.
