Using Lean Manufacturing, Design for Six Sigma, Six Sigma, Strategy Deployment and other operational efficiency initiatives that form the foundation of this program, Lucas is committed to embedding continuous improvement within our organization as a means of achieving profitable growth.

Position

• Promote Safety as the number one priority of all Lucas Milhaupt employees.
• Assist with developing and implementing world-class processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
• Support Lucas team members in their daily standard work and improvement projects as needed.
• Collect and analyze data to help drive Improvement, including recording processes using video.
• Participate in and support lean daily management.
• Participate in lean initiatives including 5S, SMED projects and kaizens.
• Support productivity improvement projects in the plant and other waste reduction initiatives.
• Work with the Operations team to develop and implement training on processes and equipment.
• Utilize job breakdowns, troubleshooting trees, and visual work instructions to update existing training materials.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
