    Reports to: Summer Boost Enrichment Coordinator 
    Location: Thurgood Marshall and Roosevelt Middle School
    Salary: Contract 
    Professional Development Training Dates:  June 1, 2026 - June 4, 2026 

    Program Duration: June 8, 2026 - June 30, 2026 (Monday -Thursday)

    Time: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 
    Summary: Job Title: Summer Enrichment Nurse  ( 3 positions available)
    Reports To: Asst. Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
    Hourly:  Per Union Contract 
     

    Performance Summary: The Summer Boost Enrichment Nurse under the direct supervision of the  District Registered Nurse, will oversee the health of students and staff   health conditions, during the course of the Summer Enrichment program. The Summer Boost Enrichment Nurse will:  monitor all health screenings and remain  onsite to provide guidance as it relates to following all health related  guidelines, maintain/clean the Nurse station and provide the Coordinators with safety recommendations. The Summer Boost Enrichment Nurse will also:

    1.  Facilitate calls to parents. 

    2. Monitor and keep accurate records of self-certification while enforcing HIPPA guidelines. 

    3. Perform routine first aid in accordance with IDPR.'

    4. Gather students' vital signs and temperature.

    5   Assist with performing routine tests themselves.

    6.   Provide for the basic needs of the students, and update records using the Student Health Manager Application.

    7    Provide necessary/ required information to the Program Coordinator and Administration.

    Perform other duties as assigned by Department of Teaching and Learning and/or Summer Boost Enrichment Program Coordinator
