Louisburg High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our boys basketball program as the Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time position is ideal for someone with a strong background in basketball who is committed to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes. The Head Coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a successful season both on and off the court.

Title Supplemental Coach
Purpose The Supplemental Coach promotes an appreciation of education, physical fitness,
teamwork, and sportsmanship. The coach provides leadership and supervision for
the students and works closely with the other staff and administration of USD 416.
Supervision Athletic Director and Principal
Payment Rate As per the USD 416 Master Agreement, Supplemental Salary Schedule

Qualifications ● Health and Inoculation Certification on file in the central office
● Have a valid driver’s license, be able to drive, and qualify under the district’s
insurance carrier when driving a district vehicle
● Desire to continue career improvement through ongoing staff development,
etc.

● Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, life, carry, pull, or
push heavy objects or materials up to 20 lbs

interruptions.

● Coordinate and supervise the students assigned to the program associated
to the supplemental assignment
● Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and
community
● Ensure that all athletic activities conform to KSHSAA guidelines
● Ability to perform and follow all district health and safety policies, including
all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan
● Work effectively with Athletic Director, Administration and other staff
members
● React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned

● Adhere to rules and regulations of KSHSAA and the Frontier League as
directed by the Athletic Director
● Ensure that student athletes adhere to training rules, lettering policies,
grade requirements, and rules of behavior
● Ensure the continual supervision of student athletes on the field, in
conditioning, and in locker and shower rooms.
● Ensure that health and safety precautions are observed during all activities
● Immediately report all major injuries incurred during practice sessions or
competition to the Athletic Director and Principal
● See that district policies are observed during all activities
