Who We’re Looking For

If you're dependable, sharp with your hands, and ready to hit the road, this is your seat. Our Helper Technicians are the backbone of our field deployments—supporting lead techs on structured cabling, networking gear, and racking installs across the country. You don’t need deep technical knowledge, but you do need grit, stamina, and pride in doing a job the right way the first time.

This is an entry-level, career-starting role for someone who wants to learn from the ground up in the fast-moving world of network infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with installation of structured cabling, networking gear, and rack systems at customer sites
  • Prep, stage, and transport materials and tools to job sites, ensuring all project components are on hand
  • Support lead technicians during installs, testing, and documentation tasks
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to site protocols and customer standards
  • Handle post-install clean-up and equipment packing, including daily reporting to the project lead

What You Bring

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to travel extensively
  • Ability to take direction and execute tasks with care and consistency
  • Comfort using hand tools, ladders, and safety gear
  • Basic familiarity with networking equipment, cable types, and installation environments
  • Clear communication with teammates and customers

Nice to Have

You don’t need to be certified to start, but if you bring any of these, we’ll notice:

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification
  • BICSI Installer 1 or equivalent
  • Previous experience with cabling, low-voltage systems, or field installs

Who Shouldn’t Apply
This role isn’t for someone who hesitates at long hours, tight timelines, or dirty work. If you need constant supervision or avoid physical tasks, it’s not your fit. But if you take pride in clean installs and being the person the crew can count on—we want to meet you.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Real skills, not busy work
  • Paid travel, daily challenges, and a team that respects the work
  • Opportunity to grow into a Lead Tech role as you build experience
  • Leadership that keeps its word, supports your development, and values your input

Our Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Growth paths and training programs
