    POSITION:                                           Senior Child Care Educator
                                                                 Full-time (35 hours per week; 7 hours per day; 10:00 a.m. � 5:30 p.m.) 
     
    LOCATION:                                         West Stafford School
     
    REQUIREMENTS:                              Associate Degree Preferred
     
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES:                          

    • Develop and implement lessons and units using Common Core State Standards and ELDS
    • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum encouraging self-esteem and independence for the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child.
    • Provide care and supervision of children enrolled in the program.
    • Supervise child care assistants.
    • Ensure that the program is in compliance with School Readiness and NAEYC standards.
    • Carry out all record-keeping and reporting requirements for the child care program.
    • Communicate effectively with staff and families on an ongoing basis.
    • Apprise Family Resource Center Leader or building administrator of student family needs.
    • Function as a positive, contributing member of a team.
    • Participate in child care team meetings.
    • Ensure that classroom equipment and materials are organized for use.
    • Maintain confidentiality of family/staff/school-related information.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Family Resource Center Leader or building administrator.

     
     
    HOURLY RATE OF PAY:                   $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
