Description

Title: Behavioral Health Assessment Team 

Location: Pocatello, ID- Onsite at hospital in the BHAT (Behavioral health assessment team located in the ED). 

Hours: 8-12 hour day/overnight shifts available. On-call and weekend availability is required.

Rate: $30-38/hr depending on licensure

As PMC’s Inpatient Social Worker, your focus will be on the 3Cs; Care, Community and Compliance.

  • Care: Provide social service functions in the behavioral healthcare setting, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management to patients and families. 
  • Community: Educate patients and families on signs and symptoms of illness to prevent re-hospitalization and improve disease management skills. Work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for our patients.
  • Compliance: Develop and coordinate therapeutic program services on the behavioral health program unit.


Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in social work from an accredited graduate school of social work or a master’s degree in other counseling related fields or Bachelors of Nursing required
  • Licensure: License in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state of practice; may include LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc. or RN license required
