Technical Project Manager - Job Responsibilities:
• Prime responsibility includes successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the project
• Managing and leading a cross functional team with a good mix of developers, QA, Technical leads
• Developing and Maintaining detailed project plan along with managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
• Managing the work and responsibilities of the team members on the project team
• Monitoring project progress and performance of the project and the team
• Providing regular status reports to the management to ensure the project is aligned with the organization processes
• To fully understand the organization process and ensure self and team adherence to the process
• Managing the trainings for the team, if any, within the required timelines
• Should be able to understand and channelize escalation process as and when required by understanding and flagging the risks
Job Requirements:
• Should have a minimum experience of 8+ years in the IT industry
• Should have a minimum experience of 5+ years of project management
• Should have managed a minimum of a 10-member team
• Ability to be a good mentor and be able to motivate the team
• Should possess good scope management and negotiation skills
• Should possess good people management and interpersonal skills
• Should be able to review team performance
• Ability to take ownership and accountability of the projects
• MPP knowledge or any similar tool’s experience for project planning and monitoring
• Ability to manage more than one project at a given point in time
