The Field Museum is seeking a visionary Chief Experience Officer (CXO) to shape and advance a unified, visitor-centered experience across the Museum�s public-facing spaces, exhibitions, and programs. Reporting to the President & CEO and serving as a senior executive on the Museum�s leadership team, the CXO provides strategic direction for Exhibitions and the Sue Ling Gin Center for Education & Public Programs, ensuring every visitor touchpoint is seamless, compelling, inclusive, and inspiring.

This is a rare opportunity to lead at the intersection of science, culture, learning, and design�delivering measurable outcomes in engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth while advancing the Museum�s mission. The CXO will champion cross-functional alignment, guide major projects and budgets, leverage audience insights and data, and pursue innovative partnerships and entrepreneurial opportunities that expand reach and impact.
