Job Description

Job Title: Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to join our team at AdviniaCare Naples. As a Driver, you will safely transport residents to scheduled appointments, outings, and activities, while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. This is a per diem position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport residents to scheduled appointments, outings, and activities

  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including the interior and exterior

  • Ensure all residents are safely buckled in their seats when transporting

  • Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, as needed

  • Provide assistance with gathering and preparing necessary items for outings, such as medication and equipment

  • Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules

  • Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Maintenance and/or Director of Life Enrichment

  • Ensure that all residents and passengers are safely buckled in their seats when transporting

  • Understand and report accidents and incidents to proper authorities when necessary

Requirements:

  • 0 years of experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
