Job Purpose

  • The Senior Brand Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the brand’s visual identity across all touchpoints. This position leads strategic design initiatives, translating brand values into compelling creative solutions that resonate with diverse audiences. 
  • Operating independently or as part of a multidisciplinary design team, the Senior Brand Designer acts as a project lead on multiple initiatives. They are responsible for presenting and managing original design concepts and ensuring the successful implementation of chosen directions in alignment with project and business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Brand Identity Development
    Design and evolve logos, color palettes, typography, iconography, and brand systems.
    Maintain and elevate visual consistency across platforms (print, digital, product, packaging, etc.).
    Create and manage brand guidelines to ensure design integrity
  • Strategic Brand Expression
    Translate brand strategy into visual language.
    Collaborate with brand/marketing teams to ensure creative outputs align with business goals and audience insights.
    Develop design concepts that bring positioning and messaging to life
  • Creative Direction & Execution
    Own and lead design projects end-to-end—from concept to final execution.
    Provide creative direction to junior designers, freelancers, or external agencies.
    Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, content, and UX teams
  • Campaign & Content Design
    Design key visuals, art direct photography, and create assets for campaigns, social media, events, and launches.
    Contribute to storytelling across mediums (motion, packaging, web, etc.).

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma or similar design tools
  • Advanced portfolio showcasing brand identity, campaign work, and cross-platform design
  • 10 years of professional experience in brand design, preferably in an in-house or agency setting
  • Proven experience leading design projects from concept to execution
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and content
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visual systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with motion design, photography direction, or packaging is a plus
