About this role

We are seeking an Operations Administrative Intern  to support property operations and facilities teams through administrative and project-based work. You’ll gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of multi-family real estate properties while helping manage vendors, contracts, and special projects.



What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks supporting property management and facilities teams.
  • Help manage vendor relationships, including contract tracking, communications, and scheduling.
  • Participate in creating portfolio wide processes and procedures related to property management, sustainability and corporate initiatives
  • Work on special projects related to property management, leasing, and facilities.
  • Attend operations and leasing meetings with property teams and take notes, track follow-ups, and support action items.


  • Evaluate and help implement various property management technology solutions 
  • Conduct market research to analyze asset performance against competitive properties
  • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations and documentation for property management and facilities using Excel and Power-Point when needed. 
  • Provide support to property budgeting process
  • Occasionally act as a company representative and point of contact with vendors, and contractors.
  • Provide operational and administrative  support to property management, marketing, and leasing agent personnel based upon the strategic plan with respect to each property.
  • Learn and help monitor compliance with regulatory requirements for all properties          



What We’re Looking For:

  • Pursuit of undergraduate degree 
  • Any experience in Property Operations, Asset Management, or related experience a plus. 
  • General understanding of and keen interest in operations of multi-family real estate 
  • Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (required)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently balancing multiple projects
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to meet deadlines are essential candidate attributes.

The compensation for this position is $27 per hour, paid out on a semi-monthly basis. As this is a summer seasonal position that does not meet the requirements of a regular full-time position, no benefits are offered with the exception of what is mandated by federal and state regulations.
