Required Experience:  Minimum three (3) years of Network Engineering/Cyber Network Defense experience for basic position and 10+ years for Architect 

Position Description:   

Exeter Government Services is seeking a Network Engineer and Enterprise Network Architect in support of the SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) Contract in Doral FL. This work is in the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC).  

Primary Responsibilities:   

• Provide lifecycle network infrastructure support for the installation, tuning, testing, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, and management, maintenance, and administration of network infrastructure environment, supporting LAN, WAN, MAN, or CAN across the enterprise 

• Configure routers and switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols 

• Implement, secure and monitor intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems and network security devices to Command and DISA standards 

• Implement DISA STIGs on switches and router devices to stay in compliance with directives 

• Follows designated standards and adheres to processes and polices 

• Support the development of integration and user acceptance test plans; execute test conduct and develop/provide test reports 

• Perform installation actions, inclusive of the implementation of all DoD published hardware and software security requirements, to move designed systems into production 

Required Qualifications:  

• Minimum Top Secret clearance upon start and be able to obtain SCI eligibility  

• DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security + CE) 

• Operating System Computing Environment Certification (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE preferred)    

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related field or commensurate level of experience based on position level 

• Minimum five (5) years of Network Engineering experience  

• Shift work is required to support real-world or contingency operations
