The Stevenson Foundation seeks an energetic, detail oriented, relationship-driven professional to play a key role in alumni communications and events. This role reports to the Foundation’s Alumni Relations & Communications Manager and works closely with a team that includes the Executive Director, Development & Scholarship Manager, S2C & One Family Manager, S2C Coordinators, Administrative & Events Coordinator, and Board of Directors.

Stevenson High School students and the broader community by equipping students with essential resources that foster well-being and long-term success. This position is a full-time, 12 month position
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and execution of alumni events, including reunions, small- and large-scale receptions, and regional gatherings
- Play a key role in the drafting and distribution of alumni communications, including newsletters, event invitations, and promotional materials
- Develop content for print, digital, and social media communications, including alumni-specific website pages
- Support alumni fundraising campaign efforts and communications
- Serve as a primary contact for alumni inquiries and engagement opportunities
- Maintain positive relationships with alumni, retirees, donors, and key stakeholders
- Partner with student groups to foster awareness of the Alumni Association
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date alumni records, database(s), metrics, and lists
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1 - 3 years work experience in communications, event planning, alumni relations, development, and/or advancement preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communications and project-planning skills
- Comfortable with public speaking and representing the organization at events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM/database systems preferred
- Experience with email marketing and website platforms, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
- Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional discretion
- Proven collaborator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Preference to Stevenson High School graduate
Other Requirements:
- Ability to regularly attend evening and/or weekend events
- Occasional travel for regional events
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally
- Must complete fingerprinting and background check(s)
Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate for this position can expect the Foundation to set the salary from $55,000 - $62,500, based upon their skills and experience. The comprehensive benefits plan includes:
