We have an immediate opening for a Materials & Logistics Coordinator to join our team, this candidate must have a great work ethic, a high sense of urgency, and dynamic energy. This could be a great fit if you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!

Responsabilities:

-Develop and monitor short-, medium- and long-term material requirements planning (MRP).
-Analyse and manage raw material requirements.
-Ensure timely supply in accordance with customer schedules (EDI, releases, forecasts).
-Monitor and adjust stock levels to prevent production line stoppages, obsolete stock and excess inventory.
-Coordinate with:
Production
Purchasing
Warehouse
Quality
Suppliers
-Monitor critical suppliers, lead times and deviations.
-Lead actions in response to supply risks, shortages or changes in demand.
-Actively participate in new project launches, securing materials for testing, pilot runs and mass production.
-Analyse demand variations and develop planning scenarios.
-Ensure compliance with FIFO, batch, expiry and traceability policies.
-Participate in internal and external audits (IATF, clients).
-Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
-Propose and implement improvements to planning and logistics processes.
-Train or act as a technical mentor to junior planners.
-Schedule pick-ups.
-Liaise with logistics agents and customs officials.
-Manage actions to achieve logistics KPIs

Technical skills

MRP / ERP (SAP, QAD, Oracle or other).
Automotive software (EDI, releases, forecasting).
Demand planning.
Inbound and outbound logistics.
Inventory and warehouse control.
Incoterms and transport (desirable).
IATF 16949 requirements focused on the supply chain.
Advanced Excel / data analysis.

Experiences:

Requieres
:
-2 to 5 years’ experience in:
-Materials planning
-Automotive logistics
-Experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
-Experience in plastic injection moulding or continuous manufacturing is desirable.
