Job Description

Certified Coder - We are seeking a Certified Coder to join our Accounts Receivable team in our Central Billing Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate follow up of claims, ensuring coding quality, and supporting operational excellence across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities
• Perform accurate and timely follow up of claims for assigned specialty.
• Interpret insurance carrier policies and payer specific requirements.
• Identify, communicate, and help resolve coding trends or issues with the Manager and Operations staff.
• Complete a variety of coding and billing functions for multiple specialty locations.
• Stay current with coding updates, regulatory changes, and industry standards, and share new knowledge with the team.
• Work independently while maintaining strong organizational and investigational skills.
• Exercise sound decision making in complex coding scenarios.

Qualifications
• Vascular and Radiology coding experience preferred.
• Current coding credentials required (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCS P, etc.).
• Proficiency in CPT, ICD 10, Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, organized and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical, investigational, and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Annual salary range: $22.40  - $33.60
