Description
The Office Manager serves as the operational leader of the school’s front office and business functions. This role ensures smooth daily operations, strong family communication, financial and compliance accuracy, and a welcoming environment for students, families, and staff.
Reports to: Principal
Supervises: Office Specialist
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
School Operations
Supports daily front office operations
Oversee attendance systems
Ensure the accurate daily functioning of staff time clocks
Ensure compliance with school-level operational requirements
Provide administrative support to Principals, including scheduling, document preparation, communication coordination, and other operational tasks
Serve as a backup for the office specialist
Other duties as assigned
Financial & Business Management
Manage school-based purchasing and expense tracking
Maintain financial documentation and reconciliation processes
Support budget monitoring in partnership with school leadership
Collaborate as necessary with the Network Operations and Finance team
Supervision
Supervise and evaluate the Office Specialist
Ensure consistent and professional family communication
Maintain efficient administrative systems
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure accurate maintenance of student cumulative records
Support enrollment and withdrawal processes
Maintain confidentiality of all records

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Be a United States citizen or otherwise have authorization to work in the United States
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Have the ability to pass an Atlanta Public Schools background check and obtain a GaPSC-issued clearance certificate
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Experience in school operations, administration, or business management
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
- Salary: $74,000.00
Compensation aligned with The Kindezi Schools’ Manager salary schedule
